IAS is a fun place for fifth graders to grow spiritually, academically, and in character.  Students strengthen their spirituality in Bible class by learning from Bible’s characters in the Old Testament.  They grow in their Math problem-solving skills and strengthen their basic Math facts skills. The Language Arts classes, help them to grow in applying English skills in their writing, reading, and speaking.  Science is fun as the students learn about how they grow physically and about things in nature that remind us of how great the Creator is.  We dig deeper into American history and world history in Social studies.  In addition, students practice skills that they need in everyday life, such as how to communicate better and conflict resolution.  Students also have plenty of opportunities to be creative in doing projects and enjoy spending time with their peers during special classes (ART, PE, and school activities).
