The IAS Parent Teacher Association (PTA) is a network of volunteer parents, teachers, and faculty who work to provide school sponsored events and activities to encourage the IAS family environment and raise funds for school improvements. In addition, the PTA believes in giving back to the community! The PTA sponsors community focused events and fundraisers designed to share God’s love with those in need. PTA volunteers plan and run all of our events. Volunteers have the opportunity to participate in many different ways. Parents can serve on the PTA executive committee, become a class representative, help plan activities, purchase needed supplies, or volunteer at a specific event. We encourage you to join the IAS PTA! Come play a role in improving the IAS student experience, promoting the IAS family environment, and engaging the communities of Suriname.
